Growing Kids South Burlington
Growing Kids South Burlington is a community collaboration sponsored by the South Burlington School District in partnership with Child Care Resource. We engage in a range of community-building strategies designed to enhance the lives of young children and their families so that all South Burlington children enter school ready to learn and eager to participate. SB Mentoring is a school-based mentoring program in the South Burlington elementary and middle schools, a partnership between the South Burlington School District and HowardCenter.
We are looking to match caring, respectful adults in the community with wonderful young people in grades K through 6 (elementary and middle school) for child- and tween-focused activities that are fun, engaging, and meaningful for both the adult and young person. We ask mentors to share one hour a week with a young person when school is in session.
For more information, please contact SB Mentoring Coordinator Susie Merrick at firstname.lastname@example.org or 652.7186 (please leave a message).
