Open registration from February 1 to February 29 for 10 hours of free public preschool.  Please visit the Pre-Kindergarten website for additional information and registration forms.

In an effort to create balanced classrooms with diverse learners, South Burlington School District collaborates with some of our Pre-Kindergarten Partner Programs.  Parents will complete the Ages and Stages Questionnaire and participate in a “Meet and Greet” in March.  This will determine class placement, either at Chamberlin School, Orchard School, or a collaborating Preschool.

South Burlington High School Window Project

Last March, voters approved funds to replace some of the old, single-pane windows with new, energy-efficient window units.  In accordance with state and federal law, we tested the caulk and glazing on the current windows for the presence of hazardous materials.  This testing revealed low levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (commonly referred to as PCBs) in the glazing, and the presence of both PCBs and asbestos in the caulk on the exterior of the windows.
